Course Description

Class Format: PDF & Videos Downloadable

Welcome to the third chapter in my Sculpting Studies Video Series. In this workshop we will be focusing on body proportion and sculpting hands, feet and shoes.

The videos are shot from overhead so you can see my techniques and how the sculpting progresses . . . and I give you loads of tips and tricks to get the realism and details you want to improve your sculpting techniques.

In this third and final chapter of the Sculpting Studies Series by Maria Saracino, she shares all her secrets to help you complete your figurative sculpture in a professional and timely way. If you enjoyed Maria’s first two Sculpting Studies courses, you’ll definitely want to complete this trilogy with Sculpting Studies “3”.
I hope you join me in my new Sculpting Studies Part 3 workshop and I look forward to seeing your work in the forum.

PDF & Video Downloadable & Private Facebook Group

Day 1 is all about costuming starting with Maria’s own “no-fail” generic patterns. She’ll also show you how to size and create your own patterns as well as tackling more complex patterns.

Day 2 is all about working with fur, both real and synthetic. How to source real fur and what to look for, how to cut and attach fur as well using mohair and how to weft your own for wigs and beards.

Day 3 is all about accessories. Maria covers everything from making your own baskets, books, fruits, toys, and much more. There are lots of mini courses within Day 3 which makes this a particularly great part of this Sculpting Studies chapter.

Day 4 is all about assembling and finishing your masterpiece, with the final emphasis on creating tags, labels, and certificates of authenticity.
