What is this Workshop about?
This workshop starts off with a bit of magic and will carry through the entire time!
I am so excited to bring this adventurous workshop to you. It was three months in the creating just for you!
Lions have their own incredible presence in this world. Powerful, majestic, and yet a playfulness to them. Dragonflies are magic, they sparkle as they dart to and fro. Every time we see one, we exclaim “Look a dragonfly”!
We will have a devote time to be together to explore new techniques where I will be there to carefully guide you!
Who is this Workshop for?
Anyone who wishes to step into a creative adventure with me! I will be there to guide you and answer your questions. Intermediate to advanced crafting skills will make this a wonderful learning experience, even those who are in the beginner category will find the instructions are very thorough for you!
What will I learn?
You will learn how to sculpt a gorgeous Lion’s head in air dry clay.
I have combined two separate workshop techniques into this one workshop to learn to covering your clay head with two different fabric choices.
The Lion’s mane is what creates the majestic sense of being. A unique technique will create a glorious mane. To top this piece of art off will be the Dragonfly. She has her own little spirit in her stunning wings.
* Learn the technique of observing to map out a face for sculpting which can be applied to anything.
* The tricks of sculpting a Lion’s head in air-dry clay.
* How to work with two different fabrics for overlaying the clay.
* How to create a solid torso in fabric and strong base.
* How to create an incredible and colorful mane for y our Lion.
* How to sculpt a simple and yet striking Dragonfly.
* How to create incredible stain glass-like wings for your Dragonfly.

Workshop Details
* This workshop is held for 8 weeks with 6 weeks of detailed Lessons.
* You do not need to show up at a certain time since everything is held online and available 24/7 once the workshop opens.
* Holding this workshop online opens the door for anyone to attend keeping the pricing at a great value for the experience.
* The Lessons come in two companion forms: PDF written instructions that hold step by step detailed colored photographs. Accompanied videos to enhance the PDF.
* All the PDFs and Videos are downloadable for you to keep!
* You can follow along each week or you can do them at your own pace.
* A Facebook Group will be available to ask questions and to post your photos. I will be there just for you during our 8 weeks together.
* The Lion is 11” tall x 7” wide x 5” deep. He is a free-standing bust form.
* The Dragonfly is 3” long x 3 ¼” wing span
A Special Story
I felt that this workshop needed a bit of the magical, so I wrote a story just for this occasion. Leopold and Giselle will be our heros on several touching adventures and everything ending with a beautiful moral.
You will have the option at the end to print it out in book form and bind it together!

You have heard art imitates life. I have found this to be truly so.
I personally went through a very profound transition to land on solid ground where I found another path leading me onwards. I have discovered this IS life….this is growth.
This has also been expressed in my art. Now that I look back at my art over the last 3-4 years, it is very clear where I was in each of my transitional stages.
