Anya & Baba E-Class by Angela Jarecki, ODAC Artist

I invite you to travel along with me and make these two dolls. Anya is a 20” stump body cloth doll.

Her face and features are gently needle-sculpted. She has several layers of clothing that can be hand or machine-embellished.

Baba is all of about 4” tall! She is removable from her papoose, and we will construct her in such a way that she can be bent and posed.

She is a lot of fun to make!

Here are a few of the techniques that we will cover in class:
Making a sturdy, stump bodied doll
Different costuming techniques and finishes
Hand embellishing for costuming
Needle-sculpting a face
Hand “painting” a fabric face
Making a baby (sewing that is!)

The class has over 100 pages of instructions and TONS of photos! Patterns and supply list are included.

Patterns pages are made to print on 8 1/2" X 11" paper.  When you print, make certain that your printer options are set for "print at actual size" or that the scaling command is "none." This will insure that the pattern does not get rescaled or distorted.

Products made from this pattern are intended for personal use for fun or small scale personal and business profit as long as you credit Angela Jarecki with the design. Any form or reproduction paper or paperless are by permission only | Copyright - Angela Jarecki - All Rights Reserved
