Class Description:
This will be a class on how to sculpt a steampunk pendant, also about the different aspects of Steampunk in dollmaking. With a detailed sculpting part, another part based on the mechanization of a face; and the final baroque part on how to do embellishments and to give the final touch for a pure victorian style. The class is based on the well known character Queen of Heart from Alice in Wonderland; which is very interesting to teach the steampunk expression of a personality, gears and mechanic are here to enhance the aspects of the naughty queen.

Nefer Kane Bio
My name is Nefer Kane. I was born and still live in Cagnes sur Mer, just next to Cannes, France, the film festival town and in the village where Picasso and Renoir lived.
I am a self-taught artist. I belong to several doll associations. I am a member of CDHM; (Cloth Doll Houses & Miniatures); International Art Doll Registry (IADR) and the Ebay sculpting group called ADSG. I’ve won many awards such as; the Bamino Romanzo Show on IADR and placed third with my entry for the prestigious group Dabida for the Dabida Day festivities in the Netherlands; this year not having the final results yet, I placed in the top three.
Various magazines have published my work in paper clay and polymer, in the US- Doll Collector Magazine; Russia - World of Dolls in Russian and Doll Masters Russia and in Germany - Puppen und Spielgen. I enjoy many forms of the creative arts. I am fascinated with sculpting Steam Punk pendants, and all aspects of Steam Punk doll making.
I sell my art mostly on Ebay, as well as Facebook. My latest work is featured in Christi Friesen’s book called “Steampunkery”.
I am presently venturing out and teaching online plus working towards creating a new studio where I plan to conduct workshops in France. I look forward to you having me as a teacher where you will learn to have fun while exploring the world of Elfdom.
