Rapunzel E-Class By Cindee Moyer, NIADA Artist

The Brothers Grimm were aptly the story of Rapunzel, a pregnant wife is craving rapunzel ( a type of turnip) from the witch's garden with 'grim'results - the witch keeps the child in a tower for 20 years.

If you have never worked with paper clay before, this is a great introduction. The tower is made with a very simple wire armature and the clay doesn't need to be porcelain smooth - it is for creating a stone tower.

Rapunzel's head and torso are fabric and it fits right down inside the tower, allowing the tower to become her dress.
