Pinocchio E-Class By Cindee Moyer, NIADA Artist
The Adventures of Pinocchio was written by Italian author Carlo Collodi in 1813. Pinocchio was the original 'naughty' pine! And as this version depicts, one of his afflictions was that his nose grew each time he told a lie. I placed him on a base with wheels - skateboard of sorts - because if anyone would have tried this it wound have been Pinocchio!
Pinnocchio is all fabric with the exception of his growing nose. His face is soft-sculpted, skinned and painted. His base is made of wood.
