Cindee Moyer is a doll artist who creates one-of-kind figurative sculptures, drawing from a love of fabric, colour and the doll. When garnering ideas and developing a doll, she is inspired by books, fashion, music and paintings. Each finished piece reveals its own journey.
She studied at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, and the Des Moines Art Center and has taken workshops with doll artists Akira Blount, Ankie Daanen, Marlaine Verhelst, Olga Roehl and Natasha Lopusova-Tomskaya.
Her primary medium is fabric and has now begun sculpting in Paper-clay. She also incorporates mixed media, using found objects as well as creating her own embellishments so that each piece is unique.
Cindee also designs a line of e-patterns for art dolls as well as teaches workshops online and around the country.
