A For Artistic E-Magazine Summer 2015
(Note: This is an electronic e-magazine)
When one issue is completed and ready to be released I breathe a sigh of relief, which last for about a day and quickly jump into the preparation for the next issue. I often wonder if I will ever run out of things to publish and share with our readers? Never! There is so much to share; I would have to live 10 lifetimes to share all the talent that is around the world.
I am amazed the beauty that is produced from our hands. A simple lump of clay emerges figures to marvel at, a blank canvas can bring wonderful emotions through color and composition and a simple piece of fabric can be transformed into a work of art.
It gives me great pleasure to be featuring a special project by Peggy Turchette, “Dressing Pavlova”. You will be amazed to read about her creative journey.
Ankie Daanen, NIADA Artist, a prolific sculptor and costumer, shares her new works of art.
Elena Kunin, sculptor, shares her wonderful sculpted characters that brings beauty and emotions to the viewer. She is also celebrating the release of her first e-book, Sculpture Part 1, The Head.
Our Show n’ Tell section is full of wonderful completed projects from the students that attended the online classes held at AforArtistic.com. We are showcasing the live workshop that was held by Deb Wood in Florida called Night Circus. There is a lot of inspiration in this issue! I invite you to spread your wings and enjoy the creativity that flow through these pages.
We encourage you to help spread the word about our publication. We welcome your testimonials and would love to include them in our next issue. We hope you enjoy all it has to offer.
